With the Modernized Chicago Building Code around the corner, there is plenty to forward to including Self-Certification Classes.
On October 21, The Chicago Department of Buildings (DOB) announced the dates for the next Self-Certification Classes. They will be offering a three-day class for first-timers and Self-Cert architects who want to renew their Self-Cert registration. The DOB will also offer a one-day Self-Cert Code Modernization Class geared towards existing Self-Cert architects whose Self-Cert registration expires after December 31, 2019.
